Key stakeholders gathered today at Desert Breeze Hotel, Arua City, for a consultation meeting on the Muni University Institute of Leadership and Governance (ILG) Strategic Plan 2025–2030. The meeting, supported by VNGi Uganda and WENDA, aimed to review and chart the institute’s roadmap for strengthening leadership and governance in the region.
The Muni University Institute of Leadership & Governance envisions a society that is better led, governed, and served. Its mission is to advance leadership and governance through research, training, and community engagement, fostering socio-economic transformation.
During the meeting, Dr. Felix Adiburu Andama, the lead for the strategic plan review process, highlighted the University’s commitment to transforming lives by enhancing leadership and governance capacities across all sectors and levels through collaboration.
Emphasizing the region’s potential, Mr. Moses Kibrai, Vice Chairman of the Muni University Council, noted:
"West Nile’s potential is vast, and success lies in unity. As University Council, we move together—let’s all move forward together."
The consultation brings together academic, civil society, and community leaders to ensure the new strategic plan reflects the aspirations of West Nile while reinforcing Muni University’s role as a catalyst for effective leadership and governance.
