ARUA CITY — Muni University, in partnership with the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development (MoFPED), is strengthening digital procurement capacity among public servants across the West Nile Sub-Region.
The initiative brings together officials from Muni University, Arua City, Arua District and Arua Regional Referral Hospital for training in Electronic Government Procurement (eGP).
The training equips participants with practical skills in using digital procurement systems while promoting transparency, accountability and efficiency in public procurement processes.
It also focuses on effective contract management, helping public institutions improve oversight and ensure that public resources are managed responsibly.
The partnership further positions Muni University as an important platform for professional development and public-sector capacity building in West Nile.
The initiative is expected to contribute to more efficient, transparent and accountable procurement practices across participating government institutions in the sub-region.
