Minister Balam has urged young youth leaders to take advantage of the many opportunities available within government, emphasizing the importance of active participation, leadership, and patriotism. Speaking during a youth engagement session, the Minister encouraged young people to equip themselves with skills, discipline, and a strong work ethic in order to benefit from government programs aimed at empowering the youth.
He highlighted opportunities in areas such as public service, entrepreneurship, innovation, and community development, noting that the government has put in place initiatives to support young leaders who are willing to serve their communities. Minister Balam called on the youth to remain focused, united, and committed to national development.

The event also featured Atima Lee, the NRM flag bearer, who addressed the youths of Arua City at the OPM Grounds.
