Julius Apeku Joins People Power Front, Becomes Acting Spokesperson

In a significant political shift, Julius Apeku, a prominent political strategist from Arua, West Nile, has joined the People Power Front (PPF), moving away from his previous role in the National Unity Platform (NUP).

Apeku has been an influential figure in Ugandan politics, particularly in opposition movements. During the 2021 elections, he played a key role in Robert Kyagulanyi's (Bobi Wine’s) campaign as a strategist for NUP. 

He was instrumental in organizing the massive Olii rally in Arua, a gathering that showcased the party’s strength in the West Nile region.His decision to transition to PPF marks a new chapter in his political career. 

The People Power Front, a movement believed to be pushing for grassroots activism and political mobilization, has now entrusted him with a leadership role. 

Apeku has been appointed Acting Spokesperson of PPF, a position that places him at the forefront of the movement’s communication and strategic messaging.While details about the full extent of his role in PPF are still emerging, this move signals shifting dynamics within Uganda’s political opposition.
