DIVISION MAYOR AGAINST PDM OVER IRREGULARITIES

Arua central division mayor, Khemis Muzaid has opposed the ongoing Parish Development Model [PDM] project. 

On Monday 28th/11/2022, the Division Mayor Hon Mr. Khemis Muzaid while talking to our reporter noted that the project is having a lot of irregularities and also believes that the project was proposed by some people who have intention of making huge commission that will make the project to fail.

However, Mr. Musema Bilal, a resident of Obolokofuku refuted the claims made by the mayor - Mr. Khemis Muzaid saying that  the project if we'll implemented  shall improve the lives of the  citizen.

The Parish Development Model [PDM] focal person for Arua city, Mr. Robinson Draga says that project will not fail and they are expecting the money on the  city account this month.

Parish Development Model was launched by President Museveni Yoweri Kaguta, the president of Uganda on 26th/Feb/2022 in Kibuku district   worth  490 billion Ugx and each parish is expected to receive 100 million Ugx.
