For 20 years, Nagi Susan Chizhim has lived with a chronic eye and nasal growth that has affected her life in ways many people can hardly imagine.
“My name is Nagi Susan Chizhim. I have been battling with this chronic eye and nasal growth for 20 years.”
Today, Susan is appealing for support to help her travel to India for the specialist surgery she needs.
After two decades of living with this condition, the possibility of treatment represents more than surgery. It represents hope for a better life.
Susan’s greatest challenge now is not only her condition, but the financial barrier standing between her and the treatment she needs.
Music producer Marshall Kay met Susan and, after learning about her 20-year struggle, decided to use his music and the platforms he runs to support her fundraising campaign.
Alongside his work as a producer, Marshall Kay runs his own music production academy and independent record label. As part of his commitment to Susan’s campaign, he will regularly give away free music, Ableton project files and music production products, using each release to bring new attention to Susan’s story.
He has committed to continuing these free releases until the fundraising target is reached, with the aim of building an ongoing cycle of awareness, sharing and support around Susan’s campaign.
The music and products, however, are not the story.
Susan is the story.
