Its game on as Uganda's Second tier league FUFA Big Leagues first round legs kickstarts as of today - Thursday 13th October 2022 with drama on the first day as teams rival to gain. With a record start of the league, the match day one brought to book six wins, 19 goals and a draw hence putting to shape a well placed league.  

The two West Nile sides lost all their matchday one games as From Yumbe, Calvary Midigo FC got a 2:1  defeat to NEC FC as Adjumani Town Council FC also lost in their first away encounter in Soroti in a 2:1 defeat. 

Some where at Kavumbi Recreational grounds, Police FC won their first match 1:0 up against the Lugazi FC at Kavumba Recreation Centre (Live on FUFA Tv). Kitara FC brought to book the hugest score of the day as they thrash Northern Gateway FC 4:0 at Kigaya PS Grounds as in Luwero, Luwero United FC scored 3:1 up against Kaaro Karungi FC at Luwero Play Grounds. However, as the only draw in the game, Ndejje University FC 0:0 Jinja North United FC- Bombo Military Grounds.
