The FUFA Drum 2022

Matchday Two

Round of 16, First leg

West Nile 5-0 Karamoja

Kigezi 0-0 Buganda

Ibrahim Dada stars as Westnile province run riot over Karamoja Province.

Bright Vuni, Gadaffi Wahab, Fred Amaku and two from Ibrahim Dada helped Westnile province restore their first leg win over Karamoja Province at the Ababet greenlight stadium Onduparaka..

Westnile province star was Ibrahim Dada , who took full advantage of Muhammad Shaban's absence through late fitness test failure to deliver a display brimming with invention, industry and, most importantly, goals.

The URA football club attacker - took centre stage after Bright Vuni's early opener inside the 5 minutes into the game , Gaddafi Wahab doubled Westnile province's lead in the 9th minute when Okocha Rashid was fouled in penalty area , Ibrahim Dada flashed two superb strikes past Ochen Benedict in the space of six first-half minutes to make it 4-0 at first Half.

Amaku Fred netted the 5th goal in the 94th minute of the 5 additional minutes to end the game as the hosts threatened to rack up a cricket score against a sloppy Karamoja Province side.

Dudu Bosco's coached side opted to take a more pedestrian approach to the second half and only added one more through Amaku Fred in the 94th minute.
