With barely three weeks to the close of the Ugandan transfer window, Onduparaka Has so far signed four players namely; Norman Angufidru (Calvary FC), Munir Saidi (Pakwach Young stars), Jamal Maliamungu (Free Agent) and Ibrahim Ekellot of Busoga United.

Based on the above signing, we aim to see a solid Onduparaka team as its been the tradition of the club to groom young talents a trend that has seen how the team has produced national figures such as Mohamad Shaban. The following are the nalysis of the new signings;

1. Jamal Maliamungu (Free Agent) - Former KCCA

Goal Keeper Jamal is a former KCCA FC player who was confirmed out of the Kasasiro Lugogo base as of late August 2020 after he had failed to get a contract renewal and has been a free agent of late.

Jamal before joining KCCA had played for UPDF FC, Water FC and Bugerere (Masaza) as a goalkeeper and notably helped Maroons win the Big League title. He is therefore a great addition to the caterpilars.

Last season 2021/2022, Onduparaka had serious goalkeeping challenges hence Angufidru a home boy is set to be savior to the sticks.

It should be noted that Onduparaka had been scouting on this fellow throughout the last Big League games since Calvary FC was asigned to play Home games at the Ababet Greenlight stadium. This deal only had been in the corridor since last year.

Angufidru who had a stint with IUIU in the University Football League and Mvara Boys, will join the Caterpillars as the replacement for Mathias Muwanga who left for Gadaffi Modern FC after the end of his contract.

Norman Will be a good addition to the current and only Goal Keeper - Michael Kagiri who according to sources had lots of minor error issues leading to goals.

3. Munir Saidi (Pakwach Young stars)

From the early August transfer speculations, dailywestnile.info can now with confidence confirm the maturity of this transfer as Munir is set to be unveiled officially by Onduparaka FC at Ababet.

Munir, a former student studying Bachelor of Commerce at Makerere University Business School, had put a great play for MUBS were he netted 3times in only 2 games last University game season of 2020 and the reigning MUB's MVP.

Munir had hints linking him for a possible transfer to Police FC however its now a confirmed green army.

4.  Ibrahim Ekellot  (Busoga United)

The caterpillars have also been able to poach from their counterparts - Busoga United a team they had given hard time as of last UPL season.  Ekkellot had successful two season play at Busoga United

With these four signings, we are yet to see what the Onduparaka FC management would be adding more in the striking department after the departure of Shaban who currently is now a KCCA player.

Dailywestnile.info can reliably confrim the exit of players such as Okello Ivan, Mohamad Shaban, Matata Gabriel and Katerega From the Caterpillar base at Ababet Green Light Stadium.
