The draw for the 2022-2023 TotalEnergies CAF Interclub competitions Preliminary Rounds will be conducted on Tuesday, 09 August 2022 in Cairo, Egypt at 5pm East African time.
This draw will mark the beginning of a journey to the 2022/23 season of both TotalEnergies CAF Champions League and TotalEnergies Confederation Cup.
Uganda is being represented by two clubs, Viper SC and BUL FC in CAF champions league and CAF confederation Cup respectively.
Vipers SC have tried several times to make it to the group stages and have failed on all attempts.
Meanwhile, BUL FC are making their debut at the continent after winning their first ever Uganda Cup title to earn the ticket.
The first leg of first Preliminaries will be played on weekend dates of 09 – 11 September and return leg on 16 – 18 September, 2022.
The second round will be played on 07- 09 October and 14 – 16 October, 2022 for first and second leg respectively.
