Dailywestnile.info can now confrim that there is a big surprise coming from the Lira city based newly promoted Uganda Premier League Club Based Black Power FC. According to official communications coming in from the Club's PRO indicates that the club is set to hold a press briefing ahead of the Bull FC friendly game. 

The team will be coached by Peter Onen in the debut season in the Uganda Premier League.

According to the official communication, the Club is set to unveil their new signings, clubs' season strategic plan and home and away kits. We can also speculatively confirm that the Club is bond to unveiling Mafro sports as one their main kit sponsors a deal that dailywestnile.info can confirm is at 99% done only awaiting official unveiling from Mafro.

The Possibly Signings To Be Unveiled 

Despite been hidden to most media houses, dailywestnile.info can confirm that the club currently has signed off 20 quality players ranging from clubs such as Police FC, Onduparaka, Vipers among these following speculative signings coming on  board include Muhammad Ssekeba, Dickens Okwir, Simon Peter Otoo and Derrick Ocen. 

Bronson Nsubuga Former Maroons FC

Bronson Nsubuga is a 26 years old promising Ugandan player who plays as a midfielder. As a former player at Maroons FC, he had a wonderful time playing and mostly remembered for scoring Maroon FC's first goal of last season. He also had played in Somalia at Mogadishu base club. Bronson becomes one of the key signings that Black Powers FC awaits to unveil officially and we can confirm the deal is 99% done as he has been in the camp training in Lira city with the Black Powers FC hence only awaits unveiling.

Ivan Okello (Former Onduparaka FC)

With lots of speculation linking Ivan to have departed from the Caterpilar base in Arua, we can conffirm that Ivan Okello has been training in Lira at the Black FC Base. Defender Ivan Okello joins the new entrants Blacks Power FC as a return which comes less than a year since he left the club for Onduparaka.

It’s understood that he has put pen to paper on a two-year employment deal till the end of the 2023/24 season. He has also previously played for Lira United and Amuka Bright and features for Lango Province in the FUFA Drum tournament. Okello becomes Blacks Power latest new addition this window .

Dickens Okwir  

Fondly known as “Diarra”, the Lira born center forward joins the Black Powers side as a new recruit. Okwir had previously played for teams such as Vipers, Paidha Black Angels (On loan), Lira based Sporting United and UPDF were he was poached from. As of 2020 Okwi had an impressive play and was named by The Lango Sports Press Association (LASPA) best player for the month of December 2020. We can also commit to say that its a 99% done deal.

Okwir has a huge following back home in Lira as the locals have named him Diarra and this signing is a big boost to the Black Powers home fan.

Muhammad Ssekeba (Goal Keeper)

Dailywestnile.info can also confirm that the gaol keeper Muhammad Ssekeba transfer deal to Blacks Power is now at 99% as the transfer window narrows. Muhammad Ssekeba is a former Mbarara City FC player goal keeper who also had a play time in clubs such as Vipers SC.

Derrick Ocen (Varsatile player from Onduparaka), Simon Peter Otoo (Defensive Midfielder from Gulu Super Eagles),  Stephen Othieno (Defender from Mbarara City)

The Clubs Strategic Plan

With lots of preparation going on high gear at the Club, the club has lined up several friendly matches in Acholi and Lango Sub region looking at friendly matches in towns and cities like Gulu, kitgum, Lira among other as well as looking at playing some of the top Uganda Premier League sides such as Bull FC. Previously the club had played a friendly match with KCCA upon which they lost 1 goal to nil courtesy of Mohamad Shaban Goal. 

The club has also opened up its junior academy to boast talent and have a grooming ground for upcoming players.
