Arua Hill Sports Club has once again proved to be the West Nile derby giants as they register a hard fought 2:1 victory over the green army of Onduparaka FC in the third time meeting in the Ugandan top tier - Uganda Premier league as of matchday 9 encounter at the Barifa basement of the Kongolo. 

The match that kicked off with a tense atmosphere did see Onduparaka FC getting an early goal in the 15'th minute of play off Forward Amos Muwonge's strike.  Onduparaka FC had a better half play as Arua Hill SC came off to push for a 64th minute equalizer off Reagan Mpande's strike. 

With barely 15 minutes to end the spoils at the Barifa base, Reagan Mpande also extended the lead to a 2:1 win for the home team - Arua Hill SC at the 84th minutes of the second half play.

With two goals to his name on Matchday 9 of the Uganda Premier Leaque, Forward Reagan Mpande walked home with the prestigious Pilsner Man of the Match.

Todays win up against Onduparaka FC brings Arua Hill SC to a winning way having been thirsty for a win after four straight looses in the past four Uganda Premier League matches in a row. 

On the other side, their neighbors - Onduparaka FC are yet virgin in terms of the UPL win in the 2022/2023 season as they have drawn  4 and lost five of their UPL fixtures as of matchday nine. 

Matchday nine 2:1 win against the Onduparaka FC now puts the Kongolo FC at the 7th position on the table as Onduparaka FC sits last on the log with only 2 points as seen below; 

Onduparaka FC awaits to return home as they finally sum up their FUFA executive committee Punishment of playing home games away without fans. Onduparaka now shall have their next home game at Ababet Green light stadium after traveling away to face KCCA FC at Philip Pmondi Stadium this Friday in an away encounter.

Meanwhile Arua Hill SC shall also be travelling to the Central Region as they face tricky Express FC in an away encounter come this Friday 2nd December 2022.
